As production at Tesla’s new Texas facility ramps up, the automaker is looking for manufacturing staff and will apparently aim to recruit from a local school district’s high school graduates.
According to CBS Austin (via @SawyerMerritt), Tesla is hiring high school graduates from the Manor Independent School District for full-time positions at Gigafactory Texas.
The Tesla Manufacturing Development Program will run through the Austin Community College District and is projected to provide employment to the 2022 graduating class after a seven-week Advanced Manufacturing Program at the college.
Tesla intends to visit Manor Senior High School on Friday and conduct open interviews from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Here is how you can apply:
